Notes on Beginners' Hockey

                   - Play School Rules - no diapers

                   - Parents must stay at the arena to watch from stands (be available if needed)

                   - Mature enough to be away from mom & dad for 45min.

                   - Parents not allowed on the ice (insurance reasons)

Notes on 'Rep' Hockey

Representative or 'rep' hockey teams play as part of an official league organized by the Okanagan Mainline Amateur Hockey Association (OMAHA). The standard of play is higher than house hockey, includes contact (checking), and ranges through Tier 1 to 4 - Clearwater teams generally play at the Tier-4 level. The league provides a fixed schedule of home and away games against other teams of the same level, and finishes the season with playoffs.

If a player is interested in signing-up for rep hockey, please indicate this on the registration form. CDMHA will decide if it is possible to field a rep team for a particular division. Fees for rep teams are also due at the time of registration, by separate cheque: If the team does not form (in the event of insufficient numbers registered by September 1st), or the player is not selected for the team, you will be refunded this amount.
